thai angel

yay i get to pick for real this week!

so my pick is thai angel, a great little thai restaurant in islandia. i've eaten at a lot of different thai places on li and nyc, and this is by far my favorite... it's actually one of my favorite restaurants overall. i was a little hesitant to pick this place because i think it's a little outside of our italian/greek/mexican comfort zone... but if i have to eat another garlic knot i think i'm gonna barf. this place is always getting great reviews in all of the "great places to eat on li" books, and its zagat rated as well. if you've never had thai food before, this place has a lot of different options, some which are similar to chinese food (just to give you an idea). All of the food is made to order, and it tastes so fresh, which i love. the prices are pretty normal... not cheap, but not expensive either.

the week without tnd

So i was trying to figure out my dinner plans for this evening when it occurred to me that it's Thursday... TND! oh wait. you have all left me to fend for myself (if i starve its your faults!) so maybe you are all on the boat right now making dinner plans and calling it "TND" but it's not!! 

so anyway tonights TND will be taking place in my house... where i will probably make myself a sandwich. 

V-day all the Way

So, i assume this week will be a lovely romantic evening with me, sange & dave. I'm sure we will spend the entire time talking about cruise preperations & our hatred of jenny & chach.

I'm going to pick this place that i drive past all the time & have been borderline curious about. I figure, we shouldn't really pick anywhere nice since there will prob. be v-day crowds around. So, my pick will be the Chef's Table, its on portion road going east right after the mini golf place. I see signs that say free app & dessert with dinner & all you can drink wine/beer....i dont know what are the conditions for this, but we shall find out.

Quick and Easy (like Agunzo)

In the interest of ensuring proper preparation for Lost can occur, we shall go to Giorgio's on Smithtown Blvd. next to the Nesconset post office. I enjoy this place, and it is where my family usually gets its pizza. Peace
