The very first restaurant to be visited in the year 2007 will be Bertucci's Oven Brick Ristorante. This is Liz's first official pick, and I know from experience that it will be a delicious one.
What I did not know is that this is a chain restaurant. For more info check out their website http://www.bertuccis.com/
This is the address of the one we shall be attending: 358 Vanderbilt Motor Pky, Hauppauge, NY 11788
see ya all there!
PS: In even greater new there is now an OFFICIAL TND facebook group, make sure you become a member if you have attended a TND!

Tonight's greatly attended dinner took place at the Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip. The place was a little expensive but awesome and beautiful. Thank you Merry for coming and the pick, I recommend all those who travel there to get the Chicken Cork, its basically cheese fries in chicken form... great. We did not have score sheets this week.. apologizes all around.
Attendance: Tony, Jesse (1st time), Merry (1st time), Tim, Ravi, Agunzo, Sang, Liz, Bill (1st time), Colleen and myself.

Tonight's dinner at La Strada was excellent. We were a table of 9 (Tony, Keith, Agunzo, Ravi, Chach, Lingo, Colleen, Liz and myself).
This is the first meal where official TND score cards were handed out. The score cards will be used to compile data on each restaurant and everyone's opinion on the restaurant. It takes into accound speed of service, wait time, etc. The first official results should be posted tomorrow.
Farewell and good eats!

December 19th, 3 Month Anniversary
To mark the 3 month anniversary (to the day!). It has been exactly 3 months since our first TND at Famous Dave's. Since then we have lost some good men and gained some others, as well as some women.
Ravi has locked in his first pick. We shall be traveling to La Strada (map and directions: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=352+Wheeler+Rd,+Hauppauge,+NY&ie=UTF8&z=15&om=1&iwloc=addr)
It will be our second Italian venture. This appears to be a promising one, most of us have never been there AND according to Ravi it is so good because he decided not to go there last week because he wants everyone to be able to taste it.
Some possible prospects as first timers are Heather, Colleen, others? stay tuned!

A Glutton Factory
Ok b’s and g’s tonight’s adventure was to the factory of cheesecakes.
There were 9 intrepid warriors tonight. After a reasonable but still long 45-minute wait we were seated (Agunzo had excellent timing skipping the wait and getting there joust as we sat). I eventually after much debate ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich, which was very good. Chach ordered an amazing BBQ bacon DOUBLE cheeseburger which I must say looked like it could feed an Ethiopian village. For dessert I chose (You choo choo choose me?) the brownie sundae cheesecake which came with TWO PUFFS of whip cream (on the top and Side)!!! TWO PUFFS!!! Very good Cheesecake and an excellent experience all around. I need to roll over into the other room and “purge”.

Upton Sinclair's The Jungle
We're going to a factory on Tuesday. Not a meat packing factory as Tony may perfer, but rather a Cheesecake Factory. Now, we all know the deal with this place, as in the 3 -5 day wait to get in. Everyone is to get there at 6:45pm and we shall save a spot for Agunzo. I for one anticipate getting some sort of sandwhich as to save room for dessert.
Futhermore, after we eat I'm going to walk around the parking lot of the mall with my keys in my hand, weaving in and out of spaces to make people think they have a chance at a parking space. It should be a fun time until I get shot at, but then again it's not my bachelor party (current event joke).
Good day.

TND Italian style
OK TNDer's This week's choose is Brancinellis, a fine Italian restaurant (so I hear) in Hauppauge. Here is a map. So I am going to keep this post upbeat since the last two have been somewhat morbid. I am going to prematurely (and if your close to me you know that happens often) congratulate our newest TND'er CHACH GERBER....So come on down as Chach joins the every growing TND tradition.
That is all for now, enjoy yourself out there in TND land.

A Farewell to Arms
Arms used for shoveling food into the mouth of a founding member that is.
Last TND was a finale for one, Josh Levine.
As mentioned in Tim's latest post we hope that Josh's appetite lives on among the robots of Japan.
The last TND, whose choice was of the recently departed Mr. Levine, was at Chili's. There a light gathering occurred with myself running late, and Ravi attending as a new comer.
This next Tuesday Night Dinner looks promising. With the departure of Josh "here's exactly what I am thinking while playing poker" Levine, TND looks to add some new members to fill the void in our hearts and stomachs. The line up for this Tuesday hopefully will include Tim digesting his way back into the scene and a cast of new items on the appearence menu: Kelly O and Chachi as first time guests. TND also hopes for a second showing of Ravi and Zodda.
The choice is now on Tony to announce this week's pick. The rumor mill has served up that the location for this week might be Italian.
Stayed tuned, stay hungry,
-Dave

A Democratic Dinner
This November 7th, please remember to vote... and by vote I of course mean bring your appetite to Tuesday Night Dinner.
This Election Day dinner will be hosted by Boulder Creek. Boulder Creek is of course running on the Delicious ticket, while it's opponent Starvation is the candidate on the Hunger ticket. I will trust everyone will vote accordingly.
We here at the TND National Headquarters are sad to see that Tim will again be unable to attend. We hope for more voter turnout this week and in the weeks to come.

Atlanta is nice
I'd like to announce that I purchased something, a talisman of sorts, to be given to whoever owns the current week's pick. I'm working on filling out the appropriate paperwork for this new tradition and hope to have it handed in to the leader of this thing by Saturday night.
Futhermore, I'd like to discuss the meals I had this week since this is a food lovers site as well as a breast lovers site, and my flight doesn't leave for another hour.
Atlanta is a place that is easy to navigate, clean, and where all the darker folks are so nice to you, almost as if they know you're better. Don't worry all you libbies, im just joking. But seriously nice people
Sunday: Wendy's, had the new 1/2lb double chedder - delicious
Monday: Steak & Shakes, had a steak sandwich combo - also delicious but they give you receipts without prices...just an itemized list of what u got...Complete bullshit, meaning I have to pay for it
Tuesday: Hsu's, had the $35 peking duck and some dumpings: a satisfying dump was had afterword
Wednesday: Steak and Ale: had the surf and turf, Lobster tails and steak should be married in some unholy union, the ones you can only get in San Fran and Jersey, Lobster bisque was a bit too rich for my taste
Thursday: Manggio's: I found the fried calimari perfectly seasoned and light, the lobster ravioli was beyond my expectations
Friday: Quizno's, had the roadhouse ranch man salad, and gave the cashier a roadhouse ranch to the face, which consisted mainly of cum.
Good night

10/31
Our very haunted and spooky TND this week will be at the Outback Steakhouse. This is Dan Ling's choice, and I agree, the only thing scarier than British people are British sounding ones from the southern hemisphere, as well as mammals with pounches.
See you down under.

Baja Grillz Yo
First of all it needs to be said that i cannot get Dave's German interpretation of "Baja" out of my head. All day long it made me laugh...even at unacceptable times i.e. as i spoke to an indian woman at work b/c then i started imagining her saying in her indian accent trying to be german "Baja". I hope you all take a few seconds to imagine that as well and bring a few seconds of joy to each of your unimpressive lives. Cause lets face it...we are unimpressive...this is what we have...it's like our own little social club. If we can somehow get all you non-italians out (cough cough you know who you are) maybe we can all sit around on patio furnature drinking espresso and eating biscotti, complaining about who just moved in next door in true italian fashion. I think on my next pick that is what we will do. I'll volunteer my house...i have a lot of mirrors like a true ginny...we should all dress up in typical guido fashion. I'll wear my velour suit and high heals...all my gold...it will be awesome. I expect you boys to grease your hair.
That being said i want to thank all of you fine young men for waiting for me to eat. I know it's hard for each of you to do but i was aware that the BaJa had chips and salsa to hold you fellows over until i arrived. The evening was a success in my opinion. and my opinion counts a lot as the only offical TND female member. Which is great for me cause i get to leave like 45% tips to waitresses cause they have boobs....trust me friends...give me that money...i also have boobs and with enough drinks in me you will have a better chance of seeing my hoohaas than any of those servers you tip so generously.
Just so you all know this was my first time posting on blog in my entire life. It was a passionate experience. Thank you.
Also, thank you sang for keeping me company on the end.

Ruby Tuesdays...a meal made for TND
The answer is yes it is. Personally I delved into the salad bar and it was very enjoyable. After a long bout of waiting and anticipation my burger and its extra BBQ sauce was in a word very very good. OK well the owner of the company just walked into the studio as I was typing this post so I am going to have to cut this short.

Curiousity
I for one am excited for tonight's Ruby Tuesday adventure. I am curious about these delicious burgers from a larger chain restaurant. Can it be true?! I also enjoy the fact that the word "Tuesday" is in this restaurant's name, making it ultimately a perfect choice for the beloved Tuesday Night Dinner. I say we all glorify and hail LORD Tuesday for providing us consistantly with full stomachs.
Last week's Cheese Dream at the Good Steer did what it was supposed: filled me up and met my quota for cheese intake for the next week. That week is over now my friends and I dare now say "extra cheese please".
Us contributors should be reporting on our meals that we eat. I would like our audience, if any, to be able to make educated menu decisions when they frequent these now holy restaurants. I know it is hard because we are barely able to sit up and breathe after such large meals, but we should try.
May this Tuesday be a Ruby in the restaurant jewel box,
Fra David

Tuesday's Pick
Ok, I've made my pick. I thought long and hard while sitting in traffic on the dream of a 2 lane highway called the "Hutch", for short. Now, some of you may scoff at the pick and to you I say let's just calm it down.
Ruby Tuesday's
Thats right, that chain resturant in the mall with the salad bar no one ever gets. I make this pick because they have some outstanding hamburgers. I shit you not, outstanding. I was brought there by Nina one afternoon cuz it was close and had a fabulously large bacon cheese guy for like $9. It wasn't just large however, it came with tastey fries and the meat was oh so tender. It was a treat and a surprise. So, let us dine.
P.S. I'm hoping someone picks a fancy italian resturant soon, for the sheer comedic value.

The history of Tuesday Night Dinner. The first recorded such history was to celebrate my (David) new job at Northport-East Northport Union Free School District. For this a band of 4 Italians set out to The Good Steer on Middle Country Road. These four were Tony, Sang, Agunzo along with myself, and the males of the group were determined to ingest the legend known only as "The Cheese Dream".
From there the next such celebration would be for Tony for his job at American Portfolios. This faithful night was that of September 19th 2006, there a star was born. This trip was to Famous Dave's barbecue. The convey this time consisted of Tony, Josh, Sang, Keith, Tim and myself. It was hence decided that from now on every Tuesday a group will convene at a restaurant and such a gathering of minds will be known as Tuesday Night Dinner. This being the first official one.
It was decided that Tuesday night is the best day for people to gather, eat, laugh, cry, and wash off barbecue stains in the bathroom together. For Tuesday, though not the middle of the week, is the best day to help break up the post-college week and alleviate the concerns of the burden of real life.
The next official one would be at John Harvard's near the Smithhaven Mall (September 26th, 2006). The beer sampler was had by many. Myself- a school teacher, Tony- an IT technician, Keith- a pilot, Josh- unemployed business student, Tim- a server, and Dan Ling- but I forget what he does.
The rules of Tuesday Night Dinner are easy, clear and delicious. Every week someone new is chosen to decide the location of the upcoming Tuesday Night Dinner. As long as the restaurant serves meat it is an acceptable venue for this meeting of minds and stomachs.
Until next the next meal, hungrily yours,
-Dave, one of many "Founding Fathers"
