Buona Sera

Tonight I choose you, Buona Sera.

It is located in Smithtown on Main street (25). It is next too the Old Street Pub and in the shopping center with the Walbaums. If you hit the smithtown Starbucks you went too far!

Patio Pizza

hey guys! unfortunately my tnd post will not be as funny or as racially offensive as danielles post from last week... however it is in purple which is fun!

so my pick for this week is:

it's a small, family run pizza place with a cute restaurant attached. i've been there like 100 times and everything on the menu is delicious... ANDDDD they give you free unlimited garlic knots on the table. i can't find a menu online, but basically they have everything you'd think an italian restaurant would have at normal prices. see you there :O)

Man Who Farts in Church Sits in Own Pew

I'd like to take a second to say that both lingo & liz will be missed greatly from these future meals. I can only hope that they read the blog and weep over the food they will never taste.

This week's meal will be at the China Tea House on Middle Country Road, it's the little blue house looking building in the Shop Rite Parking lot, if you are traveling east it will be on your right hand side.

I've been here a bunch of times before, I figured we'd mix it up a little, there's been a lot of italian, greek & meat the last few TNDs. This place has an all you can eat sushi menu for 20 bucks if you so choose to go that route, however they also have very traditional chinese meals (prepared much much better than the buffets)

In honor of the Chinese affair:
A Chinese couple get married & she is a virgin. On their wedding night, she cowers naked under the sheets as her husband undresses. He climbs in next to her and tries to be reassuring "My darling, I know this is your first time, and that you are frightened, but I assure you, I will give you whatever you want, I will do whatever you want, however you want. My darling, what do you want?"
"I want the number 69, I have heard about" she replies
Her husband looks at her in shock & confusion; "You want the chicken and broccoli?"

Anyway, We're going to The Radio Grill on Terry Rd. in Smithtown aka portion, aka horse block, aka smithtown blvd, aka CR 63. I've heard good things and it's been open forever, so I figure it can't be all that bad. It is my first pick of a place that I have no been to, so I have truly sought to embody the spirit of TND in this new year.

Apparently the owner is a DJ on Q104.3 or something, so maybe Randy from BLI will be there and we can commit a hate crime together.

I'm kidding, I don't think she had any bags actually...probably just trolling for mall ass, like I was.

The New Age and Face of TND

With the coming of the new year, and the inconvenience of some holidays (I'm look at you Christmas and New Years Day), as well as some graduate school issues the frequent diners of TND realized one thing... we would not be able to gather and gorge on a Tuesday.
Perplexing this was until it was realized that we CAN still have "TND" but the T wound no longer stand for Tuesday, but yet will stand for another glorious day of the week.

So now announcing for the first time: Welcome to THURSDAY NIGHT DINNER!

This complication was already taken care of last week when fed at Aegean Cafe II, located on Hawkins Ave. This was Tony's pick now that he his home between semesters.
